1.  What are the strengths your writing for the introduction?  What do you need to work on?
What are the strengths of your writing for the review of the literature?  What do you need to work on?

2. What is the research problem identified in your introduction?  How do you point out what your research project will contribute toward resolving this "problem"?  In other words, what have you written about  the importance of your project for writing studies?

3. What have other researchers found out about your topic that is relevant to your research project?

4.  How do you connect findings from question 3 to the purpose of your project?

5.  What is your plan for finishing/revising your introduction and literature review?

6.  What feedback do you want from me?

1. I feel like my introduction has some strengths, I do feel, though, that it can always be improved, possibly adding some additional information and what I am going to discuss, i have some difficulty getting the main idea across in the appropriate way. The literature review was a bit difficult for me, I was not sure if I did this in the correct manner. I tried to add some information that I felt was relevant to my topic, and added particular quotes followed by my explanation

2. The research problem identified in my introduction is text messaging and the affects on relationships. I point out the affects of texting on your family and friends, I have added some quotes that appear to be of importance to my topic, I will try to incorporate important ideas and problem solving that relates to my topic.

3, Other researchers have found that "initially intended for purely commercial purposes, text messaging is in fact yet another example of how the human need for social intercourse- a kind of communication imperative, bends and ultimately co-opts technology to suit its own ends" ( Thurlow & Brown )

4. I connect these findings to the idea of my topic, and how particularly my generation is completely connected to mobile devices, and in some ways cannot "function" without them. We use them to connect to the internet and to also connect to our family and friends, therefore losing that "intimate" one on one connection you would normally get simply speaking to someone face to face.

5. I hope to add some more information to my literature review, I want to provide some more quotes and information from my resources that connect to my topic. I want to feel more confident in this aspect of my paper, then all else will hopefully fall into place as i move forward.

6. The feedback I would like would be to be sure I am heading in the right direction, also to understand more clearly what I should take out or add to my introduction.
